A chapter kickoff meeting was held on February 1, 2017, at Triangle Fastener’s Montgomery branch with over 20 participants representing 7 companies receiving certifications for four training classes. Controlled Decking Zone, ABC’s of Personal Fall Arrest System, Make the Connection, and Connection Safety. This was followed up annually with a training session being offered as part of the Southeast Training Tour which included GHS and Crane Hand Signals, the latest being in January 2019 for Rigging Basics. The attendees agreed that a chapter would be beneficial in the area to offer low cost training and networking opportunities.
