Commercial Construction Estimator - Super Structures General Contractors

We are seeking an experienced commercial construction estimator to join our close-knit team and help implement winning strategies for our company's growth. The ideal candidate will prepare bid packages, estimates, design development budgets, analyze subcontractor bids, and maintain current, accurate information on prices from suppliers and contractors through various channels.

Education, Experience and Skills:

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Sciences, Engineering or related field experience

• LEED accreditation preferred

Experience & Technical Skills 

• 2 - 5+ years as a Construction Estimator

• Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and MS 365 required

• Experience with project scheduling software: MS Project, SureTrack, P6 or ProCore preferred

• Experience with BUILDR or other CRM preferred

• Experience with Sage, ProCore and ProEst preferred

• Experience with PEMB software and best practices required

Soft Skills 

• Positive attitude and professional customer service skills.

• Ability to work autonomously on estimates from the beginning to end of the bid process.

• Strong leadership, problem solving and teamwork skills.

Travel 

• May be required.

• Must have a own transportation, valid driver’s license and be insurable per insurance company underwriting requirements.

Working Conditions

• Most of your time will be spent in the office developing estimates, but you will be required to be in the field for walk-throughs and meetings.

Salary

$70-90K Starting Salary, DOE

Performance Bonus
