President's Message - Feb '25

President's Message,

In today's competitive world, setting yourself, your company, apart with unique skills and qualifications is incredibly valuable. By developing specialized abilities and gaining relevant certifications, you not only enhance your offerings to your market but also increase your chances of standing out to potential customers. These skills demonstrate your commitment to professional and company growth and your ability to adapt to various economic climates/challenges. Ultimately, investing in your skills and qualifications is an investment in your continued and future success.

Two ways the MBCEA offers are being AC478, as being accredited offers significant value for contractors and architects alike and secondly by being aligned and active with our social media campaigns!

We are active in conversation with the leadership, and the Board, of the MBMA about high profile end use customers (e.g. data centers, online retailers, etc.) to align on the benefits of having architects specify AC472 manufactured buildings to be constructed and or erected by AC478 contractors and or erectors. Specifying an AC478 accredited contractor can significantly enhance the overall success and reliability of a construction project.

We know that being AC478 can bring value for Contractors:

  • Enhanced Risk Management: Accreditation ensures adherence to stringent safety and quality standards, reducing risks on job sites.
  • Improved Efficiency and Accountability: Documented management systems and job-site specific assembly plans lead to better project execution.

There are benefits for Architects also:

  • Assurance of Quality: Specifying an AC478 accredited contractor ensures that the project will be handled by professionals who meet rigorous quality and safety standards.
  • Reduced Liability: Accredited contractors are less likely to encounter issues that could lead to project delays or failures, reducing potential liabilities for architects.
  • Consistency and Reliability: Accredited contractors follow documented procedures, ensuring consistent and reliable project outcomes.

Subscribing, following, liking, reposting, algorithms, engagement, brands, content creation, influencers, hashtags, and trending topics are all parts of active social media vocabulary. How many did you recognize?

We have our own MBCEA app, we have shared our presence on LinkedIn, we have many of you in our Facebook group, and now, we invite you to follow us on Metal Coffee Shop (metalcoffeeshop.com)! We have partnered with the MCS Team to expand our voice to the industry.

Wildly, they have asked me to be an influencer, so each month a new topic/question is asked, and I will share back a reply, sometimes a video, or maybe a quick text! www.metalcoffeeshop.com/search?s=Tiffin
