Southeast Chapter News

The SE Chapter will be having a Fall Training and Golf Event on October 11-12 at the Sandestin Resort in Destin Florida. Activities will include CPR/First Aid/AED Certification, a presentation on the New Energy Codes, a dinner cruise on the Gulf of Mexico and a Golf tournament. Full details/schedule and the registration sheet will be sent out shortly so keep an eye on your inbox.

Mid-Atlantic Clay Shoot - 10/14, Lehigh Valley Sporting Clays - Register here - Early bird pricing expires 8/31

This will be a great opportunity to network, socialize and have fun. Prizes are to be won along with a 50/50 raffle. Registration includes 100 targets each, eye protection, 12 ga. shells, golf cart rental, breakfast and lunch. Gun rentals are available at the venue at your own cost.

New England Chapter News

The NEC 33rd Annual Golf Tournament was held July 25th and was a great success.

We would like to thank all 112 golfers who attended the new venue of the Mohegan Sun Golf Club in Baltic, CT. Thankfully the majority of the rain held off and we only had to deal with some minor drizzle.

The winning team was made up of PJ Bogensberger, Dave Smigel, Denny Kaczmarek and Lou Scarfo with a score of -10 (62) (Pictured below). The was a three-way tie for second with scores of -9 (63) that resulted in a cart off for 2nd and 3rd place prizes. 

Also, in attendance was one of our two scholarship winners for 2024. 

Mr. Nolan Cooper, attending Massachusetts Maritime Academy in Bourne, MA, received $2,500.00. (Pictured below).

Mr. Jacob Akashian, attending South New Hampshire University in Manchester, NH received $2,500.00 (Pictured below).
