Mid-Atlantic Chapter News
Our 15th annual Holiday Social was held on Friday, December 2, 2022, in Peddler's Village, Lahaska, PA. With 55 in attendance we thoroughly enjoyed the good food and company, visiting with old friends and making new. The highlight was the awarding of two scholarships.
The first was Tyler Freyman with ATAS International. He started out as a forklift and overhead crane operator for three years and has been in the position of inside technical sales for the last two years. He’s looking to obtain Construction Document Technologist, Certified Construction Product Representative, and CAD and Drafting classes from LCCC. Congratulations Tyler on the $1,500 scholarship.
The second recipient was Dillon Krupa, a full time metal building assembler with Thomas Phoenix Intl. He graduated high school in 2021 with honors and is currently enrolled full time at Rowan College studying Construction Management. His goal is to become a Construct Manager. Congratulations Dillon on the $2,000 scholarship.
