We're seeking an experienced PEMB (Pre-Engineered Metal Building) Foreman to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge in the installation of pre-engineered metal buildings, specifically with regard to steel connections, wall panels, roof systems, and safety protocols. The PEMB Foreman will lead and supervise on-site construction activities, ensuring that the project is completed safely, efficiently, and to specification.

Key Responsibilities:

Must be able to read and interpret architectural plans, erection drawings, and manufacturer’s installation manuals to ensure accurate installation and construction of metal building systems.

Have experience working as a primary steel connector, secondary steel connector, or building sheeter and be able to supervise these activities. Ensure all activities are performed according to the project requirements and timelines.

Follow all OSHA 1926 safety guidelines, as well as job-specific safety programs, to ensure a safe working environment. Lead by example to enforce safety practices and standards.

Efficiently manage and follow job-specific lift plans, erection sequences, and bracing plans to ensure that all construction activities are carried out safely and according to schedule.

Oversee and manage on-site construction activities. Coordinate with various teams to ensure work is progressing smoothly, and any challenges are addressed in a timely manner.

Address issues as they arise on-site and communicate effectively with management to solve problems and provide updates on project status. Proactively identify potential challenges and take appropriate action.

Have hands-on experience with installing single skin wall panels, insulated metal wall panels, standing seam roofs with various insulation systems, and metal decks. Provide guidance and technical support to the team on these installations.

Participate in and conduct regular safety training programs for the crew, ensuring that all team members are up to date on best practices and safety procedures.

Perform other duties as assigned by management to ensure the smooth operation of the project and the company.

Qualifications & Skills:

Minimum of 3 years of experience in the construction of pre-engineered metal buildings, including installation of steel components, wall panels, and roof systems. Minimum of 1 year of experience in supervising a 6+ man crew.

Proven ability to lead and manage a team in a fast-paced construction environment.

Strong understanding of building codes, safety regulations, and installation methods for PEMB systems. Ability to read and interpret architect plans, erection drawings, and manufacturer’s installation manuals.

Ability to anticipate and resolve problems quickly and effectively, while maintaining open communication with management and the team.

Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with clients, team members, and management.

Ability to lift heavy materials and perform manual labor at times. Ability to work in various weather conditions and at various heights.

Must possess a current driver's license in good standing. Must be willing to travel from time to time to supervise projects across Texas.
